Surf Club Surf Shop was founded in 1980 by Jeff Kinney. The store is located on the historical street of Garnet Ave. in Pacific Beach, San Diego. The store has specialized in supporting local customers and always having great customer service. In February 2012 the store was sold to Lauren Decker a San Diego local of over 5 years. Lauren owned a local store in pacific beach called Flip-N-Out Flops for almost 3 years. She has great plans for Surf Club Surf Shop! She will keep the same surf shop model, but plans to add TONS of flip flops and sandals. She wants to be the main flip flop stop in all of Pacific Beach. They plan to do so by carrying all the main brands of flip flops and having the best assortment, so customers will never leave empty handed. She also plans to add more apparel and sunglass lines, as well as still carrying great wetsuits and Boards.
